The title of this piece, Cempazuchitl, is the Aztec word for the Mexican marigold, a prominent symbol and decoration for the tradition of Dia de los Muertos. The vibrant color and fragrance are believed to guide the spirits to the living world for the annual celebration of the dead. In this piece, my marigold-headed conure is a spirit guide that just landed back in the living world after reuniting the spirits with their living loved ones.

This print is 14"x 11" and will fit perfectly in standard frames. High density, archival inks are used on heavy weight, all-cotton, hot pressed paper, creating a smooth, very long lasting print.  

Signed and open edition.  The prints will be be shipped in the States in a sturdy, rigid mailer supported with chipboard, packaged and protected with 100% recycled and acid free materials.  Internationally, it will be shipped in a durable, cardboard tube. Please reuse/recycle the packaging material after it's arrived.
