Sakura is a lighthearted piece exploring how nature mirrors itself across environments. When I first learned about the teeny tiny pygmy seahorse, I thought about how the coral polyps it has evolved to resemble looked like cherry blossom buds and how fun it would be to hide one amongst the blossoming branches. It’s a visual reminder that this world is interconnected and at some level, these tiny organisms are related.

This print is two sizes: 16"x16" and a mini 8"x8". High density, archival inks are used on heavy weight, all-cotton, hot pressed paper, creating a very long lasting, fade resistant print.
